Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tenders are crispy, tender chicken strips coated in a flavorful garlic and Parmesan cheese mixture. Perfect for a snack, appetizer, or main dish, these chicken tenders are easy to make and packed with delicious flavor!

Ingredients:

For the Chicken Tenders:

  • 1 lb (450 g) chicken tenders or chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup (120 g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup (100 g) panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup (25 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken Tenders:
    • In a shallow bowl, place the flour. In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs. In a third shallow bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using).
    • Dredge each chicken tender first in the flour, shaking off the excess, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it in the breadcrumb mixture. Press gently to ensure a good coating.
  2. Cook the Chicken Tenders:
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken tenders in a single layer (do this in batches if necessary).
    • Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy, and the chicken is cooked through (the internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
    • Remove the chicken tenders from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  3. Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
    • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  4. Coat the Chicken Tenders:
    • Once the chicken tenders are cooked, drizzle or toss them in the garlic Parmesan sauce, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve the garlic Parmesan chicken tenders immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch, marinara, or honey mustard. Garnish with extra chopped parsley if desired.

Tips:

  • For extra crunch, use a mix of regular breadcrumbs and panko breadcrumbs.
  • You can bake the chicken tenders at 400°F (200°C) for about 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, for a healthier, oven-baked version.
  • Try adding a bit of lemon zest or lemon juice to the garlic Parmesan sauce for a fresh, zesty twist.

These Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tenders are crispy, cheesy, and bursting with flavor—perfect for any occasion!
