Roast Beef Sliders Recipe
These Roast Beef Sliders are a crowd-pleasing snack or appetizer, featuring tender roast beef, melty cheese, and a savory buttery glaze, all served on soft slider buns. Perfect for parties or a quick meal!
Ingredients
- 12 slider buns (small sandwich rolls)
- 1 lb deli-sliced roast beef
- 6 slices Swiss cheese (or provolone, cheddar, or your favorite cheese)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 tablespoon butter (melted)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the Sliders:
- Slice the slider buns in half (without separating them completely), so they remain in a connected slab of buns.
- Place the bottom half of the slider buns in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish or a large sheet pan.
- Assemble the Sliders:
- Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and Dijon mustard (if using) on the inside of the bottom buns.
- Layer the roast beef evenly across the buns, followed by a slice of cheese on top of each portion of beef.
- Place the top half of the buns on top of the sliders.
- Make the Glaze:
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well to combine.
- Pour the glaze evenly over the top of the slider buns, making sure they are all covered.
- Bake the Sliders:
- Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are soft.
- For a slightly crispy top, remove the foil in the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Serve:
- Once baked, remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Slice into individual sliders and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
Tips:
- For Extra Flavor: Add caramelized onions or sautéed mushrooms on top of the roast beef before adding the cheese for extra flavor.
- Make Ahead: You can assemble the sliders in advance, cover, and refrigerate them. Just bake them when you’re ready to serve.
- Variation: Use a different cheese like cheddar, gouda, or provolone for a different flavor profile.
These Roast Beef Sliders are easy to make, full of flavor, and perfect for any occasion!
