Roast Beef Sliders Recipe

These Roast Beef Sliders are a crowd-pleasing snack or appetizer, featuring tender roast beef, melty cheese, and a savory buttery glaze, all served on soft slider buns. Perfect for parties or a quick meal!

Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns (small sandwich rolls)
  • 1 lb deli-sliced roast beef
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese (or provolone, cheddar, or your favorite cheese)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  1. Prepare the Sliders:
  • Slice the slider buns in half (without separating them completely), so they remain in a connected slab of buns.
  • Place the bottom half of the slider buns in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish or a large sheet pan.
  1. Assemble the Sliders:
  • Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and Dijon mustard (if using) on the inside of the bottom buns.
  • Layer the roast beef evenly across the buns, followed by a slice of cheese on top of each portion of beef.
  • Place the top half of the buns on top of the sliders.
  1. Make the Glaze:
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well to combine.
  • Pour the glaze evenly over the top of the slider buns, making sure they are all covered.
  1. Bake the Sliders:
  • Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are soft.
  • For a slightly crispy top, remove the foil in the last 5 minutes of baking.
  1. Serve:
  • Once baked, remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  • Slice into individual sliders and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.

Tips:

  • For Extra Flavor: Add caramelized onions or sautéed mushrooms on top of the roast beef before adding the cheese for extra flavor.
  • Make Ahead: You can assemble the sliders in advance, cover, and refrigerate them. Just bake them when you’re ready to serve.
  • Variation: Use a different cheese like cheddar, gouda, or provolone for a different flavor profile.

These Roast Beef Sliders are easy to make, full of flavor, and perfect for any occasion!
