Garlic Chicken Wraps Recipe
These flavorful wraps are quick to make, perfect for lunch or dinner, and loaded with tender garlic chicken, fresh veggies, and a creamy sauce.
Ingredients
For the Garlic Chicken:
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Wraps:
- 4 large tortillas or flatbreads
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
For the Garlic Sauce:
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Cook the Garlic Chicken:
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken strips, season with smoked paprika, cumin, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 5-6 minutes until cooked through.
- Stir in the minced garlic during the last minute of cooking. Remove from heat and set aside.
2. Make the Garlic Sauce:
- In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
3. Assemble the Wraps:
- Warm the tortillas slightly to make them pliable.
- Spread a generous layer of garlic sauce on each tortilla.
- Layer with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and shredded cheese.
- Add the cooked garlic chicken on top.
4. Wrap and Serve:
- Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll tightly from the bottom to form a wrap.
- Slice in half and serve immediately.
