Garlic Chicken Wraps Recipe

These flavorful wraps are quick to make, perfect for lunch or dinner, and loaded with tender garlic chicken, fresh veggies, and a creamy sauce.


Ingredients

For the Garlic Chicken:

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Wraps:

  • 4 large tortillas or flatbreads
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)

For the Garlic Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Cook the Garlic Chicken:

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken strips, season with smoked paprika, cumin, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 5-6 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic during the last minute of cooking. Remove from heat and set aside.

2. Make the Garlic Sauce:

  1. In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.

3. Assemble the Wraps:

  1. Warm the tortillas slightly to make them pliable.
  2. Spread a generous layer of garlic sauce on each tortilla.
  3. Layer with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and shredded cheese.
  4. Add the cooked garlic chicken on top.

4. Wrap and Serve:

  1. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll tightly from the bottom to form a wrap.
  2. Slice in half and serve immediately.

Serving Suggestions

  • Pair with a side of sweet potato fries or a fresh green salad.
  • For extra flavor, add avocado slices or pickled jalapeños.
