These buttery, flaky crescent rolls are stuffed with a creamy chicken filling, making them the perfect snack, appetizer, or easy dinner. They’re quick to prepare and packed with flavor!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works well)
  • 4 oz (113g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg, beaten (for brushing)
  • Optional garnish: fresh parsley or chives, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Make the filling:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until the filling is creamy and well blended.
  3. Prepare the crescent rolls:
    • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  4. Fill and roll:
    • Place about 1–2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture on the wider end of each triangle.
    • Roll up the dough, starting from the wider end and tucking in the filling as you go. Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Brush and bake:
    • Lightly brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg. This helps them turn golden and glossy.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and fully cooked.
  6. Serve:
    • Garnish with fresh parsley or chives if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

Serving Suggestions

  • Pair with a dipping sauce like ranch, honey mustard, or marinara for extra flavor.
  • Serve alongside a fresh salad or vegetable soup for a complete meal.

These savory crescent rolls are versatile and crowd-pleasing—perfect for any occasion.
