  • 3 packs instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup water or beef broth
  • Green onions and sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles:
    • Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
    • Cook the ramen noodles for 2-3 minutes, or until just tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the beef:
    • Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
    • Add the ground beef or sliced beef and cook until browned.
    • Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook the vegetables:
    • In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp vegetable oil.

    • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and water or beef broth.
