Ingredients

  • 1 tsp dried parsley (optional)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a large baking dish or ovenproof skillet lightly with oil or butter.

2. Season the Chicken:
Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Rub this seasoning blend all over the chicken.

3. Prepare the Rice:

  1. Spread the uncooked rice evenly in the baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle the chopped onion, garlic, parsley, and turmeric over the rice. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Pour the chicken broth over the rice and stir to combine. Place small pats of butter on top of the rice.
